For sale is a WW2 British Army Soldiers Service & Pay Book.
This service and pay book was issued to Albert Keay whose service number was 2704248 and served with the royal engineers. Albert was born on the 12th of February 1927. His trade on enlistment was a groceries assistant. His religious denomination was Church of Scotland. His height was 6ft, he had blue eyes and dark brown hair. Albert enlisted in Chatham on the 22nd of February in 1945 aged 18 years old. Albert was entitled and awarded the war medal which is written in this pay book. He then joined the reserves on the 25th of august 1952. This pay book also comes with a document titled “Particulars of officer or reservist”. This has plenty of research potential. This is in fair condition. The pay book is a little tatty. This will be sent via royal mail 1st class signed for and dispatched within two working days.
