Serial No. 1498221, made early 1943, .30 carbine, 18” round barrel marked “ Underwood/9-43/Flaming Bomb”. Bore is handsome with excellent rifling noted. Barrel has thinned to a plum patina with light surface oxidation noted. High wood stock shows expected handling impression with handsome cartouches noted on the right side. “TN” is stamped inside the sling well. Carbine comes with oiler and sling, action functions correctly.
