This is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

This dates to 1939 and is marked “War Against Hitlerism” Teapot by Crown Ducal. Produced by Dyson & Horsfall Ltd of Preston a prominent specialist in the Christmas club trade who offered gifts and products in its catalogues. Produced as a patriotic souvenir to those who had surrendered their aluminium teapots in the scrap drives to provide aluminium for the war industries.
