Description
SN: DE03607. Made in 1987, .45 ACP with a 5″ barrel. Documented custom built and engraved Colt 1911 pistol owned by retired Texas Ranger Matt Cawthon. The gun has a 2-tone finish and is custom engraved. The mainspring housing is inscribed “W.M. CAWTHON / TEXAS RANGER”. The wooden grips have a Texas Ranger emblem inlaid into them. The gun comes with letters from Ranger Cawthon detailing the history of the gun and it’s use by him. A neat and historical piece.
